Prefects Korero

This week the Prefects and I have created a short clip to show the school what
they need to improve on. That is what we call a Korero. A korero is shown every
Friday at Assembly to teach the whole school how to make Pt England a better
place for everyone. It is created by the Prefects and we don't always have to make
a movie. We can produce the korero in different kinds of ways. For example a
presantation or a live skit on stage... Take a look movie to find out more !

Easter Meaning

Easter meaning to me is a day to celebrate and not to mourn about the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The religion who celebrates these are Christians. This is celebrated every Easter. Easter changes every year. Like last year it was in April but now it is in March. I have created a collage of pictures showing what I mean in pictures.

Writing Skills

We are learning to correctly edit and punctuate sentences. We were
given a variety of sentences to edit by using commas and changing the tenses to past and present along with many more things. Take a look!

Oakley Creek - Reading Wk 6

This week we are reading a book called Oakley Creek. We are learning to connect
our prior knowledge to make infers. That just simply means to use what we already know
to help us understand the book more. This story is all about trust and humility. Take a look!

Return of the Moa

This week in reading we have been learning about understanding new vocabulary
